The Donor Family Network holds a service of thanksgiving each year for recipients, donor families and professionals in the sphere of organ and tissue donation and transplantation. This year the service is on 9th September 2018 and the aim is for people attending to share in the service which allows time for remembrance, recognition and reflection. Everyone can light a candle during the service in memory of their donor or a person who has had a transplant. The service each year is held at The National Memorial Arboretum, Croxall Road, Alrewas, Burton-on-Trent. DE13 7AR . The service starts at 2.00pm and all are welcome. After the service we have food and drinks available. Plenty of parking is available (Charges apply). We would love to see as many people as possible to share in this very moving event. Please e-mail the charity if you plan to attend with numbers so we can plan for all attending, also attach a photo of your loved one if you would like it to be displayed during the service.We also plan to have a mini certificate presentation. If you would like to receive a certificate, please e-mail us and include a photo of the donor.
